12/13/11: I love my job for two primary reasons. First, the students who I work with daily are great. They provide me with opportunities to learn, teach, and be challenged everyday. And, often make me laugh in the process. Second, I love the people I work with. Now, this gratefulness may come from knowing how my other classmates are feeling in their work right now, but I feel extremely lucky to be where I am, with the folks who are here with me. Tonight reinforced said sentiments. After a dinner with the Student Activities staff, cooked by Chez Nicole, I am reminded of how awesome my colleagues are. And if they’re reading this, remember I’ve reached my six months and don’t need any brownie points anymore. =) What I do need however, is some sleep. And that I will be getting right now.
